Breakout Session at the 2018 Arctic Circle Assembly

The GlobalArctic will hold a session at the 6th Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik, Iceland. The session entitled “Curriculum Development for the GlobalArctic” is scheduled on Saturday October 20th, 2018 (21:00-22:30). This panel will discuss further development of the GlobalArctic project with four speakers:

  • Daria Gritsenko, Assistant Professor, University of Helsinki: Large Infrastructure Development in the Arctic: Governance, Planning and Sustainability
  • Florian Vidal, PhD Candidate, Paris Descartes University: The Global Arctic: Discussions and Thoughts about Interdisciplinary Research and Teaching in the Anthropocene Era
  • Lassi Heininen, University of Lapland, IIASA, Professor University of Helsinki: Teaching Geopolitics and Governance of the Arctic
