Pelin Nur Çağlayan Sert is a researcher in the Global Arctic Resources Project of TENMAK and a research assistant in the International Relations department at Middle East Technical University. She is a graduate of the International Relations MSc program at METU, where she is currently pursuing a PhD.

Her research focuses on Türkiye's Arctic energy strategy through the dimensions of energy security, energy transit and geopolitics.
